Assistant Brand Manager

siggi’s is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team.

We are looking to hire a motivated and ambitious professional with exceptional strategic, analytical and communication skills to drive profitable growth and awareness for the brand.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a junior marketer to apply their skill set to a growing business with significant potential for future growth. This role reports to the Senior Brand Manager and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with development and execution of marketing plans for the brand, including advertising, promotions, public relations, and brand communications
  • Assist with tracking campaign, strategy, tactic success and provide recommendations to optimize marketing plans as needed
  • Perform all fact-based reporting and analysis of market and brand trends to inform marketing business decisions, demand forecasts, customer sell-in strategies, and internal planning needs, including ongoing and ad-hoc syndicated data reporting, category and competitive insights, and brand equity tracking
    • Includes monitoring of competitive environment, such as tracking performance of new products & brands, competitor marketing & promotion activities, and competitor marketing spend
  • Support innovation launches through development and implementation of launch support plans and post-launch performance evaluation
  • Support eCommerce retailers through shopper marketing strategy development and execution
  • Perform other marketing related duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree required
  • Must have 2+ years of prior experience working in a marketing, category management, or sales strategy/analyst related function for a consumer packaged goods company – marketing preferred
  • Strong proficiency in using and interpreting syndicated scan data (Nielsen or IRI)
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to create action plans from analysis
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and showing initiative to drive impact in a fast changing environment
  • Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects with little oversight
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Strong detail orientation a must
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required

Sales Planning Manager

siggi’s dairy is seeking a Sales Planning Manager in our New York City headquarters.

The Sales Planning Manager will be responsible for developing detailed business plans that align with our annual budget objectives. They are the HQ presence of the Sales team and serve as the key lead in working with the field team to transform customer specific plans or strategic requests into actionable plans for each customer.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the field in creating bottoms up sales plan as part of the planning cycle and monitor the execution and performance of the plan
  • Lead weekly calls on forecast accuracy, trade rate management, and budget execution with the sales team to achieve budget goals
  • Build and deliver scorecard/dashboards to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting region performance, trends and insights based on internal/external KPI’s
  • Validate funding at customer & region level through ROI process and AMPS execution
  • Lead the monthly S&OP process on behalf of sales by preparing key meeting inputs and gathering field sales inputs for key company initiatives
  • Work closely with sales finance & demand planning teams on sales/production forecast
  • Strong understanding of all channels including: Natural, Grocery, Mass, Club, & eCommerce
  • Assist in the refreshing of Portfolio Story and customer presentation customizations
  • Prepare foundational data for new Trade Planning system implementation
  • Perform additional duties as requested/assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; Masters degree preferable
  • Experience with business analysis and developing plans and tools that assist senior leadership in decision making
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with IRI, Nielsen and SPINS a plus

siggi’s dairy is seeking a Sales Planning Analyst in our New York City headquarters.

The Sales Planning Analyst will be responsible for working with both the field sales team and the sales planning manager to execute regional trade plans within budget.  The role will also work with field sales to build bottom-up business plans that align with our annual budget objectives. They are the HQ presence of specific regions of the sales team and serve as the key lead in working with the field team to transform customer specific plans or strategic requests into actionable plans for each customer.

  • Work with assigned team members to enter, maintain, and update promo events in the trade planner
  • Participate in weekly calls on forecast accuracy, trade rate management, and budget execution with the sales team to achieve budget goals
  • Work with accounts receivable to handle open deductions and missing contracts
  • Validate funding at customer & region level through ROI process and AMPS execution including slotting, pricing compliance, promotional events, etc
  • Review customer and channel funding allocation is reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Support the monthly S&OP process on behalf of sales by preparing key meeting inputs and gathering field sales inputs for key company initiatives
  • Strong understanding of all channels including: Natural, Grocery, Mass, Club, & eCommerce
  • Perform additional duties as requested/assigned

West Regional Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Advance the development and sales growth across customers in the Western Region.
  • Develop, manage, and support a broker network, including creating sales plans, setting standard/goals, and performing reviews
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
  • Maintain continual awareness of the competitive environment.
  • Plan, budget, and forecast sales and expenses in the grocery channel.
  • Support overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales management and developing pricing policies as needed.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key distributors and customers; identify new customer opportunities.
  • Meet financial objectives through forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain customer service standards; assist sales team in resolving customer and distributor problems; identify trends; determine areas for improvements and implement improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated experience calling on grocery accounts and/or key regional retailers and distributers.
  • Must be a self-starter, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and be able to work in an autonomous environment.
  • Must have prior broker management experience.
  • Proven success building out grocery channel business within the beverage/food industry.
  • Candidates must be based in the Western Region.
  • At least three years of  grocery sales and account management experience in the food industry (dairy/frozen experience strongly preferred).
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners a strong preference.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Be able to attend trade shows and events as necessary.
  • A working knowledge of third party data, i.e. Nielsen, SPINS, etc.
  • Proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment.
  • Excellent skills in the following areas: listening, presentation, negotiation, analysis, customer service, selling, communication, organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Nielsen, etc.

Sales Finance Manager

The Sales Finance Manager oversees budget preparation and pricing/trade spend analysis to help achieve Sales and Profitability targets. This role acts as the finance partner to the sales planning team to assist in Return On Investment and Post Event Analysis. They will manage a Senior Financial Analyst, Sales Finance.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support to the Sales Teams in the areas of ROI analysis, Ad Hoc reporting, and special projects
  • Prepare financial analysis for monthly business reviews, monthly trade forecasts
  • Owns the trade budget process and Partner with Sales Team and Account Receivables
  • Oversee the preparation, analysis and recommendations on Trade, Slotting, and Shopper Marketing spends
  • Gross Sales Reporting by Customer & Retailer
  • Consistently analyze the promo effectiveness. Look for opportunities to improve trade dollars.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of trade management related tools

Position Accountability: Works under the supervision of siggi’s Chief Financial Officer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics; Master’s degree preferable
  • 3+ years of relative working experience providing detailed financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Access
  • Ability to interact with all levels within an organization
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Experience with IRI, Go simple Trade Promotion Management a plus
