Associate Brand Manager

siggi’s is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join our Marketing team.

We are looking to hire a motivated and ambitious professional with exceptional strategic, analytical and communication skills to drive profitable growth and awareness for the brand.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a junior marketer to apply their skill set to a growing business with significant potential for future growth. This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for the brand, spanning national and customer shopper marketing, promotions, public relations and brand communications, collaborating with internal team and agency partners
  • Perform all fact-based analysis of market and brand trends to inform marketing business decisions, customer sell-in strategies and internal planning needs, including ongoing and ad-hoc syndicated data reporting, category and competitive insights and brand equity tracking
  • Support innovation launches, including market sizing, new product forecasts, consumer research support and post-launch performance evaluation
  • Track competitive positioning, products, brands, marketing and promotion activities and spending
  • Perform other marketing related duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • College degree required, recent MBA preferred
  • Must have prior summer MBA marketing internship or up to 1 year of post-MBA experience working in a marketing related function for a consumer packaged goods company
  • Strong proficiency in using and interpreting syndicated scan data (Nielsen or IRI)
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to create action plans from analysis
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and showing initiative to drive impact in a fast changing environment
  • Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects with little oversight
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Strong detail orientation a must
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required

Senior Brand Manager

siggi’s is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join our Marketing team.

We are looking to hire a motivated and ambitious professional with exceptional consumer marketing, cross-functional leadership, and analytical skills to drive profitable growth and awareness for the brand.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and execute marketing programs for the brand, spanning digital media, social and influencer marketing, public relations, brand communications, promotions and shopper marketing, collaborating with internal team and agency partners
  • Manage and train direct report(s) in all fact-based analysis of market and brand trends to inform marketing business decisions, customer sell-in strategies and internal planning needs
  • Serve as the expert for the organization on category trends and competitive activity to inform key marketing and innovation decisions
  • Support innovation launches through development and implementation of launch support plans and post-launch performance evaluation
  • Manage Marketing P&L

Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred, college degree required
  • Must have 4-6 years of prior consumer packaged goods experience, food marketing experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects with little oversight
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to create action plans from analysis
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting syndicated scan and panel data (Nielsen or IRI), synthesizing key learnings and presenting implications to drive business decisions
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and showing initiative to drive impact in a fast changing environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills with extensive experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong detail orientation a must

Customer Service Coordinator

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and warehouse team to ensure accurate and on time order fulfillment
  • Provide timely and effective customer support by addressing any requests, comments, or concerns as they relate to order confirmations, product availability, daily delivery updates; assist in directing other requests to finance, marketing, or sales teams as needed
  • Manage resolution of delivery issues by communicating a plan of action to carriers and warehouse; provide timely updates to customers as available
  • Process and review orders daily for accuracy and reconcile any anomalies
  • Support accurate and timely submission of orders weekly to warehouse and transportation companies
  • Assist in new customer set up and communicate with appropriate teams including accounting, sales, production, carriers and warehouse
  • Maintain customer master data for both existing and new customers in all systems
  • Collect documentation and reconcile reported miss-shipments with PODs. Follow up as needed with customers, shipper, carriers; communicate accordingly with accounting team for proper billing
  • Provide answers to inquiries from other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and/or other members of supply chain
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

College degree and authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is a plus.  Must have ability to manage multiple projects in the fast changing environment of a rapidly growing business. Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically MS Dynamics and Excel) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferred.

Senior Graphic Designer

siggi’s dairy is seeking a versatile, talented, and conceptually minded Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team.

The ideal candidate is a multidisciplinary designer with experience designing everything from brand campaigns, events, packaging, to swag, and mailer kits. This person must be confident creating day-to-day content and branded assets in the creative queue and must be able to take specific direction at times but also must be able to create and problem solve.

This position will report directly to our Creative Director and work from our headquarters in Flatiron, NYC.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support all packaging, social, and promotional design development and production of company assets and package design
  • Provide accurate creation of production mechanical files for labels and packaging
  • Work directly with marketing team to create digital advertising units, social content, and print materials for brand advertising communication
  • Execute on creative briefs for dietitian and retail communication efforts including emails, site assets, logo/branding design, sales materials, trade advertising, and misc. collateral
  • Help develop new package designs for product innovations and line extensions
  • Help translate and communicate the siggi’s brand look and voice across all creative assets

Qualifications:

  • Training and 5+ years of experience in graphic design; must have prior work experience in package design
  • Expertise and hands on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat)
  • Experience setting up files for print/mechanical use
  • Demonstrated skills in typography, layout, hierarchy, and branding
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask, shift priorities when needed, work under pressure, meet creative review and production deadlines, and react quickly and smoothly to changes
  • Meticulous attention to design detail and quality, with the ability to execute flawlessly on creative briefs
  • Very comfortable with a DSLR and photo editing
  • Video production skills are a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with direct manager and extended marketing team
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Further develop and grow sales across all customers
  • Meet financial objectives through forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop, manage, and support a broker network, including creating sales plans, setting standards/goals, and performing reviews
  • Maintain key relationships across both siggi’s & customer HQ’s
  • Support overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales management and developing pricing policies as needed
  • Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key distributors and customers; identify new customer opportunities
  • Keep continual awareness of the competitive environment
  • Maintain customer service standards; assist in resolving customer and distributor problems; identify trends; determine areas for improvements and implement improvements

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must be based in the Mid-Atlantic or Southeast U.S. Region.
  • 3+ years of grocery sales and account management experience in the food industry (dairy/frozen experience a strong preference)
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
  • Must have demonstrated experience calling on large grocery and/or SE regional accounts
  • Must have prior broker management experience.
  • Proven success building out grocery channel business within the beverage/food industry
  • Must be a self-starter, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and be able to work in fast-moving and autonomous environment
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners a strong preference
  • History of calling on major retailers and distributors in the grocery channel
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Be able to attend trade shows and events as necessary
  • A working knowledge of third party data, i.e. Nielsen, SPINS, etc.
  • Proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment
  • Excellent skills in the following areas: listening, presentation, negotiation, analysis, customer service, selling, communication, organization
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Nielsen, etc.
