Sales Director East – Grocery

siggi’s dairy is seeking a Sales Director East – Grocery.

We are looking to hire a motivated and ambitious professional with expertise in delivering the best in class retail sales, broker and distribution structure, and management. Develop and deliver short to medium term regional strategies in accordance with the company objectives. Delivery of the volume, revenue, and gross profit targets as agreed in the annual budget process.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Achieve annual budgeted sales and profit for the region
  • Build medium term region and account strategy in line with overall company objectives
  • Deliver annual sales, forecast, and promotional plans by account
  • Recommend changes to sales structure and route to market in conjunction with senior management
  • Identify and manage new business opportunities and new ways of working
  • Total responsibility for brokers, distributors, retail chains for region including
    but not limited to:

    • Broker scorecard reviews
    • Monthly ACV targets distribution
    • Monthly distributor updates
    • Broker quarterly reviews
  • Cost Management for region including:
    • Trade spend budget
    • Margin calculator
    • Deduction control
    • Expense report management
    • Broker contract management
  • Annual region business plan
  • Minimum of 2-3 retail headquarter calls per chain per year
  • Market visits with SVP Sales
  • Help organize and participate in 3 annual sales meetings and various trade shows

Qualifications:

  • Must be based in Eastern U.S.
  • College degree and authorization to work in the U.S. is required
  • 7-10 years sales experience Grocery East chains (dairy/frozen experience a strong
    preference)
  • 5+ years of broker management
  • 5+ years of distributor management
  • 3+ years managing people
  • Demonstrable success of managing, influencing people. History in leading and
    becoming an integral part of team.
  • Demonstrable success managing change and growth. Demonstrable ability to analyze
    numbers and create action plans.
  • Ability to break down Nielsen information
  • Formal analytic/sales training with a reputable company
  • Working category management knowledge is a plus
  • Expert presentation skills one-on-one and formalized group setting
  • Excellent skills in the following areas: listening, presentation, negotiation, analysis,
    customer service, selling, communication, organization
  • Proficient in MS Office

Customer Service Coordinator

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and warehouse team to ensure accurate and on time order fulfillment
  • Provide timely and effective customer support by addressing any requests, comments, or concerns as they relate to order confirmations, product availability, daily delivery updates; assist in directing other requests to finance, marketing, or sales teams as needed
  • Manage resolution of delivery issues by communicating a plan of action to carriers and warehouse; provide timely updates to customers as available
  • Process and review orders daily for accuracy and reconcile any anomalies
  • Support accurate and timely submission of orders weekly to warehouse and transportation companies
  • Assist in new customer set up and communicate with appropriate teams including accounting, sales, production, carriers and warehouse
  • Maintain customer master data for both existing and new customers in all systems
  • Collect documentation and reconcile reported miss-shipments with PODs. Follow up as needed with customers, shipper, carriers; communicate accordingly with accounting team for proper billing
  • Provide answers to inquiries from other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and/or other members of supply chain
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

College degree and authorization to work in the U.S. is required. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is a plus. Must have ability to manage multiple projects in the fast changing environment of a rapidly growing business. Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically MS Dynamics and Excel) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferred.

Chief Financial Officer

Summary:

Plans, directs, and administers all aspects of the company’s financial affairs, including the functions of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and risk management. In addition, responsible for IT. Directs the organization’s financial affairs and accounting practices by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develops and establishes objectives for the finance and accounting team consistent with company objectives. Will also provide overall direction for all accounting practices and policies consistent with proper accounting and parent company guidance.
  • Coordinates the financial reporting function for the company ensuring function is performed in a timely and accurate fashion. This includes required reporting to our headquarters office. Directs the finance team in providing and directing procedures necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.
  • Leads financial planning process for the company by performing long-term financial modeling and identify leverage for ongoing business strategy discussions.
  • Provides leadership for the company’s business planning and budget process. Responsible for coordinating the flow of information from the various departments and managing the presentation and approval.
  • Provides financial guidance and recommendations to the CEO to develop long-term financial strategy for the business.
  • Performs ad hoc reporting and special projects to improve reporting, analytical tools, and internal processes to enhance management decisions.
  • Oversees annual audit in conjunction with the Accounting Manager. Responsible to ensure controls are in place and agreed upon recommendations are implemented.
  • Coordinates all tax activities for the company, including reporting, payments, and planning. Works closely with company auditing firm to ensure that all governmental requirements are met in time frames required.
  • Ensures that all computer systems are operating as intended and that continual evaluation and development occurs so that the future needs of the company are served.
  • Provides oversight of the company’s insurance programs.
  • Acts in a fiduciary capacity for the company’s 401(k) plan.
  • Develops, manages, and motivates an effective finance team with the ability to deliver the growth and revenue goals.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of a BS degree; a CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • At least 10+ years’ experience as a VP Finance or CFO for a beverage or food company
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills

College degree is required; bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is a plus. Strong proficiency in MS Excel required.

Sales Coordinator

siggi’s yogurt is seeking a Sales Coordinator.

The Sales Coordinator will be a direct report of the Senior Manager of Sales Planning and support the Sales team by facilitating activities and communication between headquarters and the field sales team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • communicate and coordinate activities with other key disciplines in the company (such as marketing, finance, and supply chain)
  • manage field sales requests for samples, demos, and coupons
  • provide administrative support for sales, such as printing sales sheets, updating product spec sheets, managing information on customer portals
  • manage siggi’s product and sales merchandise inventory at HQ
  • assist in customer meeting presentation preparation
  • organize and coordinate details related to trade shows including registration, booth management, travel, and hotels
  • attend periodic trade show to provide assistance for events
  • update sales forecast files monthly with known changes and as needed
  • ensure accuracy/completeness of planning files (add/delete tracker and trade spend planners) through regular scrubbing of field sales inputs

Qualifications:

Authorization to work in the US is required. College degree and previous experience in sales and /or internal sales support role are preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong people skills with high energy and a “can do” attitude. In addition, the candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ability to multi-task and strong teamwork skills are a must.
