Sales Coordinator

siggi’s yogurt is seeking a Sales Coordinator.

The Sales Coordinator will be a direct report of the Senior Manager of Sales Planning and support the Sales team by facilitating activities and communication between headquarters and the field sales team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • communicate and coordinate activities with other key disciplines in the company (such as marketing, finance, and supply chain)
  • manage field sales requests for samples, demos, and coupons
  • provide administrative support for sales, such as printing sales sheets, updating product spec sheets, managing information on customer portals
  • manage siggi’s product and sales merchandise inventory at HQ
  • assist in customer meeting presentation preparation
  • organize and coordinate details related to trade shows including registration, booth management, travel, and hotels
  • attend periodic trade show to provide assistance for events
  • update sales forecast files monthly with known changes and as needed
  • ensure accuracy/completeness of planning files (add/delete tracker and trade spend planners) through regular scrubbing of field sales inputs

Qualifications:

Authorization to work in the US is required. College degree and previous experience in sales and /or internal sales support role are preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong people skills with high energy and a “can do” attitude. In addition, the candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ability to multi-task and strong teamwork skills are a must.

Develop and deliver short to medium term regional strategies in accordance with the company objectives. Deliver the volume, revenue, and gross profit targets as agreed in the annual budget process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of Ahold sales across all banners.
  • Meet financial objectives through forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.

  • Sustain key relationships across HQ’s.

  • At least five years of grocery sales and account management experience in the food industry (dairy/frozen experience a strong preference).
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners a strong preference.
  • History of calling on major retailers and distributors in the grocery channel.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Attend trade shows and events as necessary.
  • A working knowledge of third party data, i.e. Nielsen, SPINS, etc.
  • Proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment.

PT Nutrition Coordinator

siggi’s dairy is seeking a Part-Time Nutrition Coordinator in our New York City headquarters.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft monthly newsletters and social media posts for nutrition communications efforts.
  • Assist the dietitian with aspects of the siggi’s ambassador program, including but not limited to:
    • Coordinating ambassador rewards and send outs, including social media tracking to identify top ambassadors.
    • Fulfilling coupon requests.
    • Packing mailers and other resource requests.
  • Assist with conference execution, planning and logistics, including packing and shipping materials for events and corresponding with event organizers.
  • Assist in evaluating the paid influencer and blogger performance.

Position Accountability:

Works under the supervision of siggi’s registered dietitian.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, with a preference for those who have completed DPD coursework. Ideally, candidate will have completed or is currently enrolled in an accredited Dietetic Internship.
  • Experience with event planning a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Dates of Position:

June 2019 through October 2019; 2 days per week (~16 hours with possibility for more hours during busy conference seasons). Hours must be completed Monday – Friday during normal business hours. There is no opportunity to work remotely for this position.

Western Regional Sales Manager

The Western Regional Sales Manager will drive the company’s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals in the grocery channel in the Western Region.

  • Trade Analysis, Reporting & Management: Partner with Sales team and AR to understand drivers of trade and ROI analysis for promo effectiveness. Look for opportunities to improve trade dollars.
  • Customer P&L Reporting: Partner with Sales Finance Senior Manager & Sales team to understand profitability by customers to optimize accounts.
  • Marketing Budget Reporting: Partner with Marketing team to understand current spend and forecast future spend based on planned activity.

Authorization to work in the US is required. College degree and previous experience in financial analysis, system implementation, and process improvement experience are preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, flexible communication style, and a “can do” attitude. In addition, the candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail are a must. This is a full-time position.

  • Processing cash receipts and remittance daily
  • Monitor customer payment patterns and collect overdue payments
  • Routinely communicate with customer counterparts to ensure timely receipt of invoices and payments
  • Responsible for verifying chargebacks and classifying deductions to appropriate GL accounts
  • Work with supply chain team on order changes and freight related issues
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Contribute to department and organization special projects

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as the main point of contact for overall office needs
  • Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, including overseeing policies for office-based employees to ensure a safe, clean, and professional work environment
  • Lead vendor management for office services, such as IT, building management, and utilities
  • Oversee office facilities and serve as day-to-day liaison with building management for any issues/requests
  • Manage office expansion including construction projects, working closely with contracted designer, architect, etc.

  • Manage new vendor setups including W-9 forms

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a junior marketer to apply their skillset to a growing business with significant potential for future growth. This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for the brand, spanning national and customer shopper marketing, promotions, public relations and brand communications, collaborating with internal team and agency partners
  • Perform all fact-based analysis of market and brand trends to inform marketing business decisions, customer sell-in strategies and internal planning needs, including ongoing and ad-hoc syndicated data reporting, category and competitive insights and brand equity tracking
  • Support innovation launches, including market sizing, new product forecasts, consumer research support and post-launch performance evaluation

Qualifications:

  • College degree required, recent MBA preferred
  • Must have prior summer MBA marketing internship or up to 1 year of post-MBA experience working in a marketing related function for a consumer packaged goods company
  • Strong proficiency in using and interpreting syndicated scan data (Nielsen or IRI)
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to create action plans from analysis
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and showing initiative to drive impact in a fast changing environment
